why we love Santiago

we live about a 10-15 minute bus ride from Santiago de Compostela. here is what a typical day there looks like for us

“what’s that noise? i think it’s a thumder storm!”

it wasn’t a “thumder” storm. it was “bombas”. it’s like a firecracker without the light show. just the loud bang. yeah. i don’t really get it either….

^ i told her i wanted to take a picture and to pose. i don’t normally tell her to pose but now after this, i might be more inclined to. hehehe

isn’t it magical?! i love spending days there without any real plans but to just wander about. they also have some really great shops. we are going this Saturday so I can pick up some nice cotton yarn for some special treasures i have planned for my etsy shop.

  1. when I see you in these pictures of history, I wonder how many other mom’s with their little girls visited those gardens & walked the cobblestone walks among the ancient buildings. I know why you love Santiago; it’s wonders, beauty & history. 🙂
